 Onischuk Al (2674) - Nikolic P (2665)

This game was played in the second round of the 2007 World Cup. I made a typical exchange sacrifice 16.Re6 and got a very good compensation. The endgame turned out to be slightly better for me. The final part of the game I played very well.

 Nakamura,H (2658) - Onischuk,Al (2663)

This was a very creative game. My opponent played risky in the opening. I sacrificed a pawn and got a great compensation.  In order to win the game I had to show a good technique in the endgame.

 Onischuk,Al (2663) - Shabalov,A (2606)

Here is another game from the 2007 US Championship. After 5 rounds Alex Shabalov was leading with a perfect score and I was 1.5 point behind. To keep my chances for the 1st prize I had to win this game.

 Shulman,Y (2581) - Onischuk,Al (2650)

By winning this game I became the US Champion. It was the second tie-break game. Despite a big pressure and rapid time control we both played extremely well.

 Onischuk,Al(2641) - Kasimdzhanov,R(2674)

The following game is from the World Rapid Cup, 2002. I beat my opponent in a complicated play. Rustam is one of the best rapid players in the World. He proved it in Libya winning most of his matches on tie-break.

 Onischuk,Alexander (2657)-Romanishin,Oleg M (2561)

In this game from the Montreal, 2003 tournament I created probably the most beautiful combination in my life. I sacrificed a rook and got a decisive attack on his king.

  Onischuk,Alexander (2605) - Hodgson,Julian M (2550)

This game I played in Groningen, Holland in 1996. It was the first super tournament I participated in.
